We had a B'nai Mitzvah on July 18th. Having recently moved from NY to Florida we did not know any DJ's!!
I went online and loved the video that they showed and thought to myself ,, Now that's a party I could see crashing... LOL!!

I immediately emailed and called Gregg to make an appointment and booked him. What a fantastic party we had! Surely a day to remember..!! I would certainly recommend Gregg and Marc to all our friends , family and anyone who wants the best party ever!!

OMG!! WORDS CAN NOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH FUN I HAD!!! I GOT MARRIED ON JUNE 20TH 2009! I NEVER DANCED THAT MUCH IN MY LIFE! I AM NOT A CLUB PERSON AND LET ME TELL YOU IT FELT LIKE ONE. GREGG HAD US MOVING AND GROOVING ALL NIGHT LONG!! I THINK I DANCED HALF THE WEDDING IN MY SHOES AND TOOK THEM OFF FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT!! VERY NICE GUY! NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!! HE CAME UP TO ME TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OKAY TO DO A TOAST OR A DANCE ETC... GAVE ME A GOOD WORK OUT WITH ALL THE JUMPING AND DANCING AROUND ALL OVER PLACE. MY LEGS WERE SORE THE NEXT DAY!! THANKS GREGG HOPE TO WORK WITH YOU SOON!!!

 Gregg,
 
 It has been a couple months now and I want to tell you, we
 are still talking about the party! I should have sent this
 sooner, but I hope you still enjoy these pics.
 
 First of all, I want to say how awesome you were. You kept
 the party going with the perfect song selection each time.
 You picked up on some things going on in the crowd that gave
 you additional ideas. Since it was an 80's theme, we had a Cyndi Lauper in
 the crowd so you played "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" then my
 very pregnant niece was wearing that Frankie - Relax Don't
 Do it shirt, and you played that song.  (BTW - she had
 the baby :-). Your line dancing instruction were a hit; your
 enthusiasm was contagious, and your interaction with the
 crowd was right on target! You even had some of the servers
 (including Samuel) dancing in the hallway, they did not want
 me to see them, but I did and I loved it!
 
 The birthday people, Kit, Dana, Michelle, and Megan all had
 a night to remember for their birthdays and the rest of us
 will remember the best damn party EVER!!! I will endorse
 you, I will pass out your name to people, and if any of
 those nieces of mine, tie the knot, well, I will make them
 call you :-). That will not be a hard sell though, because
 they all loved you!

Alyssa's Bat Mitzvah

Dear Gregg,

My wife and I are happily recovering from my daughter's Bat Mitzvah that you so superbly, DJ'd, MC'd and Game Mastered yesterday. You were extremely motivating, appropriate, funny, and entertaining. From the moment you took the mike you instantly got the whole room up and dancing, hooting and hollering. Your experience clearly shined through!

All around the room, both teens and adults were commenting to me about what a great and entertaining DJ you were!

I looked on the web at many DJs before I picked you. I found many that were more expensive, but had about 10% of your personality. Other DJs will brag about the equipment they own, but very few show videos of themselves in action, and I guess there is a reason for that. When I asked them for video evidence of their performance, most claimed that they don't need to do that, because their reputations bring them referrals. Or they have videos of crowds screaming but do not show the DJ doing anything at all. The few I was able to check out had basically no particular people skills, but they hoped putting on a song that kids like would get the crowd excited. At many parties this passes for a "good DJ". A monkey can turn on a song. Only a true performer will have a patter and a personality that augments the songs and adds to the music and the whole event. Trust me party people, DJ Gregg is just such an entertainer and a rarity in South Florida. As much as I liked the videos linked to Gregg's website, I will tell that live he is even better! I want to make up an excuse to have another party real soon, just so I can rehire DJ Gregg! I would be pleased to give an outstanding personal reference and recommendation to anyone considering DJ Gregg!

A word about Wedding Speeches

So you dont know what to say for your big wedding speech? Well, if you're a member of the wedding party, you may be expected to make a speech at the big occasion. This is a big chance to make a good impression on everyone at the wedding reception if you can deliver a well prepared, professional and personalized speech.

Who is expected to make a Wedding speech? Wedding speeches can be delivered by a bridesmaid, the father of the bride, or a maid of honour. A good wedding speech should communicate all the emotions, well wishes, personalized gestures and humour that the occasion merits. A short toast may be delivered in the form of a short poem or a full wedding speech may last anything from five to ten minutes. This is a great chance for close friends and family to make a statement that will have a great and memorable impact.
Overcoming nerves may be a factor for some people at such a big occasion. It is important to practise the speech before the occasion although it is not necessary to memorize it word for word. Simply making some bullet points on some cards should be enough to guide you through the speech with fluency. The more you practise the speech the more you will become confident about what you are saying and will help you to deliver a powerful speech on the day. If someone is too anxious to make a speech on the day it is often best to just leave them out if they dont feel up to the task.

The order of wedding speeches. Traditionally the speeches begin with the bride's father. This is followed by the groom's father, then the groom and finally the best man will deliver his speech. Sometimes it is common for the best man or even the groomsmen to read messages or telegrams. On some occasions other invited guests may also make a speech.

In modern times traditional approaches are not always followed and in some cases, speeches are made by both parents of the bride and groom, often the father of the bride, then the mother of the bride followed by the father of the groom and then the mother of the groom.

Writing the wedding speech. If you dont know where to start it may be an idea to write down some notes about the fun times you have enjoyed with the bride or groom. A light hearted story can be a good way to make everyone relax and laugh. If you are short on material, simply speaking to other family members can be a good way to help you remember memories from the past of fun times gone by. It is important that the speech is considerate as well as funny and entertaining as the last thing you will want to do is upset one of the guests. People often appreciate a wedding speech from the heart with honesty and sincerity.

WOW! What an amazing day!
The reviews are in and everyone is raving about you. You were the perfect fit for our wedding. Thank you so much for coming early, for staying late, for playing mine and my dad's song (which was not easy to find), for keeping the crowd on their feet, for your great MC-ing, and for everything else that i may have forgotten.

Gregg,

I can't find the right words to express how happy I was with your
excellent performance at my wedding on Feb 14th. I can't find a better word other than
performance!!! I know I can be "difficult" and just a tad bit
"inpatient" as a client and I want to thank you for understanding. You
were excellent in keeping my party alive. You kept the youngest to to the
young at heart dancing the night away. We laughed on our honeymoon because
my new brother in law never got off the dance floor and if the reception
ran any later he would have been, how should I say "naked." LOL

I took a chance on you, and I don't normally do that on such serious and
important matters. I have absolutely no regrets. I knew nothing about you
and you were the first DJ we met with and I am so glad we did.

Thank you so much!!! You can expect to hear from your newest and most
pleased client again soon. I plan on reaching out to you for house parties
to baby showers. So expect some more texts from me!!!

Thank you. I will send you some good pictures of the dancing crew when I
get them.
