Ashley and Joseph

I was very honored to DJ this wedding! It was a special one indeed. Ashley and Joseph have been living in Kentucky for a few months now. Joe, who is a Sgt. in the Army is Stationed at Fort Knox. They met while he was on leave between tours in Iraq and Germany. They are a great couple!

Our event was held at the Deer Creek Country Club. It is always great to see Michel and the rest of his staff. they are great to work with! The cocktail hour started out as usual, then they went into the main dining room.
I introduced the bridal party into the room with the Blackeyed Peas "I gotta feeling" I was able to find an instrmental of it and it was great to talk over. I then Introduced the Bride and Groom in with a song named "Ashley". Very cool!
After the first dance and bridal dance, we sat them down. Then Ashley got up and made a very special dedication and prayer for her Brother who is stationed in Afghanistan. It was a moving moment.
After dinner, I did the parent dances and then we rocked all night long! It was a young crowd. Not too many people over 40. I played a lot of new music from 2010 and 2011

I can tell when couples are meant for each other, and Ashley and Joe are for sure!!
Good Luck Guys!!!
