Hello Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here again with this weeks installment of the DJ Blog.
On Saturday, May 3, 2014, I had the pleasure of being the DJ for the reception of Shauna and Tanner.
They had the party at the PGA Resort in Palm Beach.
 It is a beautiful venue.
Even though the weather didn't cooperate, it was still a bright and sunny event!
As the guests walked into the ballroom I was instructed to Keep the music upbeat and fun. So, I played some "South Beach" sounds. That really hit the spot.

I introduced the bridal party to "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO. Then Tanner and Shauna walked in to the room with "Best Day of My Life" by The American Authors playing.
As the bridal party looked on, I played the first dance "Making Memories of Us" by Keith Urban. I then played "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton for the bridal party and the rest of the guests.
I then proceeded to sit everyone down.  A few minutes later I asked the best man, Pablo to speak along with Katie, the matron of honor and Stu, The groom's father.
They all had wonderful things to say about Shauna and Tanner. Some were touching, and some were funny. But nevertheless, a room of family and friends who love them.
Now dinner is served. I kept it fairly light, playing music from James Blunt, Sinatra and even some Jazz.

After dinner, I invited Tanner to dance with his mom. "I Cross My Heart" was chosen. I then invited all of the guests to get up and party!
It was a very mixed crowd, so I played music for all ages and styles. Black Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, AC/DC, Lil' Jon, Bon Jovi, Dexy's Midnight Riders, Etc.
You get the picture. I was all over the place!
The dance floor was busy all night!
When it was time to cut the cake, I was asked to play "Over the Rainbow" by Isreal K. I then proceeded to do the garter and Bouquet toss. "Girls Wanna Have Fun", Ain't No Other Man", and Another One Bites the Dust" were all requested to be played while I asked the girls to catch the Bouquet and the guys to catch the Garter. I then proceeded to play a slow song for the two winners, along with the bride and groom.
After that, we picked up the party again!
They danced for the rest of the evening.
It was a fun party!
Congrats to Shauna and Tanner!

Thanks for visiting!
